ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE
The Administrative Office at SPARC / Stepping Stone is the hub of the organizational wheel the nexus where diverse units connect with one another as well as the physical center for clerical and managerial activity. All work at the Administrative Office is directed to support adults with developmental disabilities in Josephine County, Oregon, the middle of the wild and beautiful Rogue River Valley.
Located at 1990 NW Washington Blvd., in Grants Pass, Oregon, SPARC's Administrative Office consists of clerical personnel, accounting staff, the General and Assistant General Managers and the Staff Development Coordinator. The Administrative Office serves two separate and unique organizations.
As non-profit corporations with over 145 employees, SPARC Enterprises Inc., and Stepping Stone Residential Services, Inc., represent sister organizations with separate boards of directors, funding sources, staff and missions. Yet they share one administrative office. The function of one central office for two diverse organizations saves time, energy and money.
In addition, SPARC / Stepping Stone is built upon the philosophical framework of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) that enables the various units to operate as teams within the larger circle of the organization's unique "wheel". The organizational wheel links all units of the sister organizations in a mutually advantageous manner that ultimately benefits people with developmental disabilities.
The Administrative Office fulfills the clerical, financial, and legal responsibilities of the organizations. In addition, the management staff provides leadership and direction to the sister organizations. For 25 years, SPARC / Stepping Stone has led the way in Southern Oregon as an innovative and progressive vehicle to better the lives of adults with developmental disabilities.
