Since being established over 30 years ago, both
SPARC Enterprises and Stepping Stone Residential Services, Inc. have
become the primary providers of quality services to those with
developmental disabilities in our
community. Our mission is to provide and foster
independence, employment, and life skills training for the people we
serve. We are proud of the
accomplishments we've made in community employment placements; and we are
proud that some of our residents are able to enjoy very independent
lives. It is our goal to further this mission and provide funding
for these services for many generations to
come. The
SPARC/Stepping Stone Foundation has established an endowment
program that can effectively provide on-going funding for these
services. All funds received will be invested and the
interest from those investments, once we reach our goal of $1.5 million,
will be used to finance employment and independent-living skills training
for those with developmental
disabilities. There are no administrative fees charged
to the Foundation. All
contributions are used to build the Foundation's endowment so that future
services are ensured. All
administrative services are provided by SPARC Enterprises and oversight of
the investments is performed by a separate, all volunteer board of
directors. Your gift will be added to all past gifts
made to the Foundation and you will be placed in the Foundation's
Partnership Society honor roll. We invite you
to support these organizations and those they serve. Together, we can and will build a stronger
community.
